In addition to the online Apple Store, you can now also place pre-orders for the new 2010 iPod models at Amazon.com.
So far, there’s no discount on the new iPods at Amazon – that will likely come later. But ordering from the online retailer does save you state sales tax (at least at purchase) if you have a brick-and-mortar Apple Store in your state.
